Information about Dichroic's

What makes Dichroic so special?  Dichroic are multiple ultra thin layers of different metals ie gold, silver, metal oxides such as titanium, aluminium vapour which condenses on the surface of the glass to form a crystal structure.  The coating that is created is very similar to a gemstone and careful control of the thickness of the coating, different colours are obtained.

All my designs are abstract and all individual.  I cut the glass and arrange it as I go and then fuse the pieces togther in my kiln.  All the jewellery comes with a leather cord and in a presentation box and make lovely unique present that appeal to young and old.
